After the ubiquitous Chennai’s weather mantra that goes -Hot, Hotter and Hottest, its finally raining in here. The cloudy skies, cool wind and the greenery at 6am in the morning was soul-soothing.
My balcony plants could not have been more happier.

Hoping that these rains last for a few days to help fill up the reservoirs, bring water table to normalcy, cool the heated world. But not give much more trouble to the homeless. Amen.

Dear Sir, You do not know me. I found your address after looking at your flowers under the rain…. 2 years ago, I spent a month in Chennai, and I spent most of my afternoons at a coffee house the name of which is Amethys. It’s in a walled park, in the middle of which sits the palace of a former Rajha, transformed into a most pleasant coffee spot , the greatest place to be driven to spend a great afternoon…no noise, no music in the mansion nor in the garden. A friend of mine is actually in the city. I would like to forward him the address.
